The following new features, enhancements, and/or updates became available in your AWARDS database beginning on May 31st, 2023.

FormBuilder - New Options for Dynamic Section Report Formats!

Previously, when building a FormBuilder, agencies could include fields that were Dynamic Section Report Formats, drawing from a specific list of ReportBuilders. We have expanded the list of available ReportBuilders to include ones that will draw upon program-specific client data, such as the Progress Notes ReportBuilder, Contacts Log ReportBuilder, Plans and Reviews ReportBuilder, Service Contacts ReportBuilder, Service Referrals ReportBuilder, and many others.

FormBuilder - More Enhanced Filter Options for Dynamic Section Report Format Fields!

When adding a Dynamic Section Report Format field to a FormBuilder, that Report Format can now use filters that refer to dates or other fields on the ReportBuilder. For example, you can use Admission Date, Discharge Date, or Form Date in the filters. Other fields on your FormBuilder can be used within your filter as well to limit what is displayed to the user filling out the form based on data entered on the form in another field.

Additionally, when a user creates a new form for a client, depending on how the filters are constructed, the report tables on the form might first display the text “Records will display after the form is saved.” After a form is saved, if there are valid records that meet the criteria, they will display.

Job Interviews and Job Placements - No More Default Date Ranges!

In our Job Interviews and Job Placements modules under Employment, the Date Range filter has been removed from the client selection page. When viewing a client’s Job Interviews or Job Placements, the history of records will display chronologically descending just as in other client modules. When adding a new record, the date will no longer be restricted to fall within a date range. Until now, the default was to show the past two months of data, meaning that if you didn’t change the date range, you might think there isn’t any historical or future data to see. Now, when you work on data entry or try to search for data, you won't be limited by the pre-set date ranges.

Contacts Log Report - Now Displays Two Contacts with the Same Settings

The Contacts Log Report previously would not display two contacts with the same settings – since it was a rare scenario that this was needed. However, since some customers do intentionally create notes with the same settings, we made a change that will show all notes on the contacts log. Now, by default, the Contacts Log report will display all contacts; however, we have added a new display option of “Unduplicate” that should be used if you want to hide notes that are the same worker, client, start time, and end time.
