New Data Domains Available for DataStudio

We have added Group Activities and Households as data domains in AWARDS DataStudio. This results in a new FACT_ACTIVITIES table and a new FACT_HOUSEHOLD_ENROLLMENT table, along with accompanying PII tables.

  • FACT_ ACTIVITIES is a table containing information about activities, activity schedules and attendance by consumer. It also includes note information where relevant.
  • FACT_HOUSEHOLD_ENROLLMENT is a table containing household enrollment history for a consumer, the associated program admissions and demographic details of the consumer.

These new tables will benefit customers that have created data assets that use these domains, as well as customers participating in specific funding streams such as SOS CTI in New York. Data customers with existing pipelines will need to add these tables, but there are no column changes to existing models.

October 1st Release

You Can Now Re-Label the "Face Sheet Note" Section and Include It on ReportBuilders! - October 1st Release

Customers are now able to re-label the "Face Sheet Note" section of the Face Sheet. This label can be changed to anything your agency requests. (For example, it could be changed to "About Me.")

The Face Sheet Note field is now also available on the Demographics ReportBuilder. If the field has been re-labeled, it will appear with the label in use.

If your agency would like to re-label the Face Sheet Note section, please reach out to the Help Desk or your Success Manager.

Various other ReportBuilders may be able to include this field as well, such as the Service Contacts ReportBuilder.

Client Chart Navigation - Client Info Header Updates- October 1st Release

The Client Info section has been enhanced in several exciting ways!

  • The Client Info header previously displayed some key demographic information and took up a significant amount of vertical space. Now, we have minimized the header and moved the demographic information under a Client Info section available at the top-right of the page next to the Go To button. When clicked, the new Client Info section expands to display the client's information.
  • Copy Link feature has been added to the AWARDS ID. This allows you to quickly copy/paste the AWARDS ID into Help Desk tickets!
  • Age has been added as an item in the new Client Info section, calculated from the Date of Birth.
  • Face Sheet Note has been added to the new Client Info section. The Face Sheet Note displays at the bottom of the Client Info section, below the demographic data. Note: the Face Sheet Note can be re-labeled and if it is, that label will appear here.
  • When a Client Alert Flag exists for a selected client, the alert will show at the top of the Client Info section below their name and can be expanded to see the full text.

Address Fields on the Demographics ReportBuilder Have Been Modified - October 1st Release

We have made some updates to the Address fields on the Demographics ReportBuilder to provide more comprehensive and intuitive reporting options and to create consistency between residential program addresses and external housing addresses. Users will better be able to create reports or exports for mail merges with the necessary data.

Please pay attention to the changes in case you have saved report formats that include these fields, to ensure your reports are using the correct fields to provide you with the appropriate data or adjust the formats accordingly.

Previous Address Field Label New Address Field Label
Notes About the Change
"Street Address" "Street Address"

No change. This field will display the Street Address stripped of any Apt. numbers entered in common syntax, to provide a pure Street Address field.

"Street Address: Bed/Unit"
"Street Address with Apt/Bed/Unit"

"Apt" was added to the label to explicitly cover Apt numbers that may be entered for external addresses.

Until now, the Demographics ReportBuilder denoted Apt or Unit numbers with a "#" to replace any "Apt" or similar syntax to create consistency. As requested, external addresses will now show Street Address in this field with Apt numbers as they are entered.

Adding "with" to the label signifies that the other "Street Address" field does not include it and it is stripped out of there.

"Street Address: Bed/Unit" "Street Address: Apt/Bed/Unit"

"Apt" was added to accommodate external addresses.

If an Apt number is entered into the Street Address field in AWARDS, the Apt number will populate this field on the Demographics ReportBuilder.
