AWARDS Redesign Improvements

(Part of the Client Chart Navigation Project Release)

Our current AWARDS Redesign work often goes beyond the major releases we announce, and includes minor enhancements and cleanup to related areas involved in the major releases. As part of the recent Client Chart Navigation project, some minor enhancements were made to the Client Search Results page. (See second screenshot below.) These improvements include:

  • Column headers no longer wrap and extra space was added between the column header and the sort icon.
  • The AWARDS UUID number now wraps but can still be copied and pasted as a single number.
  • The Client alert flag has been updated to match the new flag style in the Client Centric Navigation header (and also updated on the Face Sheet if you've set it to display there.)
  • SSN now displays in a single line (not wrapped)
  • Race is now bulleted to match its Face Sheet display, making it easier to read when there are multiple options selected.
  • In the status column, each program episode is its own bulleted item. The program name is on the first line in darker green to stand out, and the episode detail (status and dates) is on the second line in lighter green.
  • Striping has been added to the entire table to make it altogether easier to read.

Follow the steps below to search for a client/consumer in AWARDS:

  1. Select "Search Client" on the top left side of your AWARDS screen.

  1. Enter search criteria in one or more of the available fields. Click "Search". The Search Results page will display.

Note: You can search partial names, for example, last name only, first initial, or first few letters of a name. When doing a partial search, the Search Results page will produce a list of all clients/consumers who match those partial fields which will narrow your search.

Note: By default, search results are sorted alphabetically. Click the up/down arrows for any column header to sort the results by that column.

  1. Click the name link for the client you are searching for.
  2. If the selected client has NOT yet been admitted to an agency program, their referral record is displayed. If the client HAS been admitted to an agency program, the Client Information page is displayed for them.
  3. From this page, you can access the key components of the client's chart including entitlements, employment, hospitalizations, face sheet, progress notes, service plans, etc.
