Training
Ongoing training is key to long-term AWARDS success. In addition to conducting a variety of frequent and free training events (which can be found on our Upcoming Foothold Events Calendar), our Training team provides fee-based training events that take deeper dives into specific AWARDS functionality with smaller groups of users. We also provide custom training specific to your agency's programs, staff roles, and/or workflows within AWARDS.

- Custom Training Sessions - Custom training sessions are tailored to your unique AWARDS database configuration and specific workflows. These sessions offer the space to teach your users to navigate the software, document services, and perform their specific job tasks within AWARDS - using your exact database configurations.
- 90 Minutes to Win It! - Does your staff need a quick refresher on a particular area of AWARDS? In 90 minutes, we can target a module and a workflow, honing your users' skills wherever they need to be developed.
- Train the Trainer - Prepare your internal training team to own the ongoing AWARDS training of your staff as you continue to grow and hire new staff members. Like Custom Training sessions, Train the Trainer sessions use your unique AWARDS database configurations, and then go a step further to equip your team with best practices for teaching others.
- Custom Training Videos or Workflow Cheat Sheets - Our Training team will develop customized training videos or cheat sheets that you can distribute to your staff so they always have key workflow training at hand.
- Master Training - Master Training sessions are group sessions that include multiple agencies in a single session. Take a deep dive into more advanced AWARDS functionality and learn how you can uplevel your use of features and functionality you already use on a regular basis. We offer a rotating schedule of topics.
- AWARDS Certification - AWARDS Certification is an intensive, multi-day program that produces AWARDS Superusers! Ideal for getting AWARDS Administrators, Implementation Team members, and your local Help Desk staff up and running with confidence. AWARDS Certification includes training in all areas of AWARDS, with specialized tracks for advanced skills in Billing, Reporting, and other targeted areas.
- Training for AWARDS Integrated Tools - All AWARDS add-ons include startup training. After startup training is completed, additional training is available at any time! These integrated tools include:
- BillingBuilder
- E-Labs
- E-Prescribing
- EVV
- E-MAR
- AWARDS InSights Consulting
Implementation Services
Even agencies that have been using AWARDS for a long time sometimes need support for adding new programs, updating existing programs to meet new requirements, or significantly re-thinking agency or program workflows. With Implementation Services, you'll receive one-to-one time with a Foothold Implementation Consultant who will work directly with your team to develop new programs and services in your existing AWARDS database. These services include professional project management and back-end configuration of AWARDS and may also include user-facing configuration, such as building forms. Examples of what these Implementation Services can look like:
- Adding New Programs/Program Types, Including Significant Workflow or Documentation Changes
- Work with a Foothold Implementation Consultant one-on-one to implement or re-implement programs
- Includes a custom implementation plan and back-end program configuration
- May include user-facing configuration (for example, building forms or plans)
- Exploring or Adding New Modules
- Work with a Foothold Implementation Consultant one-on-one to implement new AWARDS modules
- Consists of module introduction, workflow discussion, configuration, and post-configuration review
- Includes 90 minutes of training and a worfklow cheat sheet or video
Every implementation project requires a formal statement of work and agreement to be executed before work can begin. Services are priced based on the detailed proposal and statement of work. Contact your Success Manager to request these special Implementation Services.
Configuration Management
Are there forms, templates, or saved report formats that you’ve been wanting to build? We know these tasks take time and require the space to think through what is needed, and how to best create it. We’d love to help! With Configuration Management services, we’ll work with you to configure the forms and templates you need. Examples include:
- Building forms and assessments using FormBuilder
- Building service plans/treatment plans using Plans and Reviews
- Building reports using ReportBuilder
- Building exports using ExportBuilder
Your Foothold services representatives will complete a feasibility review to determine the extent of the support your agency is requesting. Every Configuration project requires a formal statement of work and agreement to be executed before work can begin.
