PLEASE NOTE
The AWARDS Portal is an optional enhancement. Please contact your Success Manager if you are interested in signing up.
General Functionality & Scope
What is included in the AWARDS Portal today?
At launch, the AWARDS Portal supports secure client access to relevant medical information and electronic signatures for Progress Notes. It is designed to extend documentation workflows beyond in-person visits while keeping everything within AWARDS.
What types of documents can be signed in the Portal?
Currently, electronic signatures in the Portal are supported for Progress Notes only. Additional document types may be considered in the future based on customer feedback.
Client Experience & Access
Which clients receive Portal invitations?
Only admitted clients are eligible to receive Portal invitations. Pending clients are not included.
What happens if a client is enrolled in multiple programs?
If a client is already onboarded through one program, additional programs can be added without requiring the client to repeat the onboarding process.
What information can clients see in the Portal?
Clients can access key medical information, including:
Allergies
Conditions
Immunizations
Procedures
Medications
Family history
This information is sourced from Health Summaries within AWARDS and presented in a simplified, accessible format.
Will clients be able to see lab results?
Yes, lab results are available in the Portal.
E-Signatures & Workflow
What is required to use e-signatures in the Portal?
Organizations must have Progress Note E-Signatures configured using the E-Signatures Configuration tool (Builders & Tools). Legacy e-signature setups (via Business Rules) are not compatible.
Is E-Signature configuration required to use the Portal?
Yes. Progress Note E-Signatures must be configured in order to enable remote signing through the Portal.
What if we need help configuring E-Signatures?
Professional Services can assist with E-Signature configuration. This is a separate service and is not included in Portal pricing.
How does the “Send to Portal” process work?
Once a Progress Note is sent to the Portal for signature:
The note is locked while awaiting signature
The “Send to Portal” button is disabled
A status message indicates delivery and signature progress
Can previously signed documents be shared with clients through the Portal?
At this time, previously signed documents cannot be retroactively shared through the Portal. Future enhancements may expand document-sharing capabilities.
Support & Troubleshooting
How do customers submit support requests for the Portal?
Customers can submit requests through the standard AWARDS Help form, which routes to the Radicle Health Support team.
When Portal is enabled, will all clients automatically receive an invitation?
Yes. When “Enable Patient Portal” is turned on for a program, all new admissions with a valid email address on file will automatically receive a Portal invitation. The same applies to existing clients—once the Portal is enabled, any admitted client in that program with an email address will be invited.
How can we manage or limit client questions to clinicians or caseworkers?
Our team is creating resources that your team can review and share with clients. These materials are designed to answer common questions and support a smoother onboarding process for clients.

Is client information being shared or exposed when they are enrolled in the Portal?
No. The Portal is a secure environment where clients can access their own information. Data is not shared externally, and access is limited to the individual client’s records.
