The Employment module's Education/Training feature provides access to a menu of training-related features that enable users to track information such as test scores, training placements, education, and more.
Permissions Required
The Education/Training feature is available to staff with the following permissions:
- Display Any Chart Records Buttons
- Display Chart Records Employment Button
The Test Scores feature and/or the Education/Training Enrollments feature is available to staff with the following permissions:
- Program Chart Access
- Display Any Chart Records Buttons
- Display Chart Records Employment Button
The Education/Training Facilities feature is available to users with the following permissions:
- Display Any Chart Records Buttons
- Display Chart Records Employment Button
Working With Test Scores Records
- Click Charts > Employment > Education/Training > Test Scores.
- Select the program from the Program drop-down menu.
- Select the client from the Client drop-down menu.
- The index page will automatically refresh to display any existing test score records for the selected consumer.
- Now you can Add a new test record, Update an existing record, View or print a record, Delete a record, or return to the Test Scores Index.
Using the Test Scores ReportBuilder
The Test Scores ReportBuilder can be used to generate customized reports of test score information, along with basic client demographic data.
- Click Charts > Employment > Training > Test Scores. The Test Scores Index page will display.
- Click Test Scores ReportBuilder. The ReportBuilder Settings page will display.
- Select the program from the Program drop-down menu.
- Click the Roster Date Range drop-down menu and select which clients you want to include in the report, based on their program history. Options include:

- In Program
- In Program Including Pending Clients
- Admitted
- Admitted or Transferred In
- Discharged
- Discharged or Transferred Out

- Adjust the date range as needed.
- By default the report includes all clients. Select a specific client if needed.
- Leave the Provide ExportBuilder Options box unchecked. It is not relevant to report generation.
- If you would like the report to be sent to your AWARDS Messages Inbox, click the Send in AWARDS Messages checkbox.
- Use the Select a Saved Report Format menu to indicate if you are using a saved report format for this report or if you are starting from scratch.
- Click Continue. (If you are using an existing saved report format, the report will now display. If you are starting from scratch, the Options page will display.)
- If you are starting from scratch with this report, the Options page will display.
- The Options page contains a list of available report variables grouped by type, and includes sections for "Demographics" and "Test Information." These variables represent data collected on the consumer face sheet and test score records. Click the checkbox next to each variable to be included in the report, and/or use the available Check All options as needed.
- Click Continue. The Report Options - Continued page will display.
- Configure the options in "Filter Options" as needed. Set the "Show Individual Detail" and/or Summary Tables options as desired.
- To save the settings so you can use this report again in the future, slick Save Report Format. Configure the fields as needed and click Save Report Format again.
- Click Display Report. The report will display on the ReportBuilder page.
Working with Education/Training Enrollments Records
- Click Charts > Employment > Education/Training > Education/Training Enrollments.
- Select the program from the Program drop-down menu.
- Select the client from the Client drop-down menu.
- The index page will automatically refresh to display any existing test score records for the selected consumer.
- Now you can Add a new enrollment record, Update an existing record, View or print a record, Delete a record, or return to the Training/Enrollments Index.
Working with Education/Training Facilities Records
- Click Charts > Employment > Education/Training > Education/Training Facilities. The Education/Training Facilities index page will display.
- Now you can Add a new facility record, Update an existing record, View or print a record, Delete a record, or return to the Education/Training Facilities Index.
